Day 3 was probably of the longest land travel I ever had, but it felt like just a couple of minutes. I guess it’s true that time flies by when you enjoying. Also, I was sitting beside a hot girl, so there’s that. 😀
We left Iligan around 1 pm since we had to buy something in the city and return it to their house and it was straight to Cagayan after that. We arrived at Cagayan de Oro Bulua terminal and we rode a taxi to where my cousin was waiting. Unfortunately, I wasnt able to take a photo of the city since we were in a hurry. After we met my cousin, we went straight to Bukidnon. He will take us to a place called Dahilayan. It’s actually pretty famous but it was my first time hearing about it. 😀
On route to Dahilayan is the plantation of the one of the biggest names in the food industry:
Yup, the big Pineapple(as I’d like to call it). Also there’s a big pineapple here. No joke, there really is a big ass pineapple in this place.
It was my first time seeing a lot of pineapples. And “a lot” is an understatement.
We’ve been driving for miles and miles and all I can see are pineapples… and the occasional fog.
It was quite a long drive, about an hour and a half or so, but when you get there, it’s a beautiful place! Too bad we arrived at night, we cant see their park but we really had a good time even if it was already dark.
Those animals are realistic. That wolf gave me the chills.
After checking the place, we dine in.
The food was delicious and it was really reasonably priced! My cousin and I had a couple of beers, then we decided to head home. Before that though, we saw a lot of native american statues and before we know it, we’re taking photos with them. Since we cant rent one, we just took a photo of the dune buggies. 😀
We left Dahilayan around 8pm and we arrived at the city around 10. We then went to sleep shortly after we arrived since we need to leave early in the morning. I really had a wonderful time during my short visit to Cagayan and Bukidnon. Also, it was good seeing my cousin. He was one of my closest cousin and it was all expenses paid trip. Thank you manoy Kk for the tour!
I love this post! I also have a travel story on my blog today. It’d be awesome to have your input!
