Mindanao, The Land of Promise: The Arrival

A couple of weeks ago, I went to Mindanao. If you know where that is, good for you! If you don’t, our friendly neighbor wikipedia is here to help. The Girl was from Mindanao, she was raised in Iligan(look it up) but now, her family lives in Zamboanga del Sur(just open up google maps). When she invited me to come to her place, I was really excited since it would be the first time in Mindanao. So, here I am, sharing to you my experience during my first visit to the Land of Promise.

I arrived at Pagadian City via airplane. There are a lot of ways to get there but via airplane is the fastest.

Yay, Pagadian!
We passed by Bohol and this is what the Chocolate Hills looked like from an airplane!

After arriving from Pagadian, The Girl and her sister, Cyrine, was already there waiting for me. To get to her place, we need to ride a bus that leaves at 11am. My flight arrived at 3:45pm, so we decided to stay at a hotel for the night and leave tomorrow morning. Her younger sister is a big pool fan, so I made reservations to a hotel with swimming pool.

Unfortunately that day, the whole pool place and restaurant was reserved for a birthday party and we had to wait until tomorrow to use the pool, but we had fun never the less. Tired from the long flight(not really that long but was still tired), we said our good nights and slept.

You just don’t know how happy I was seeing you that time. Being away from you for a week almost killed me. hehe.. Thank you for considering my sister’s love for pools. It means so much. Mwah!

  2. Reblogged this on The Girl and commented:
I was not able to post about our Mindanao so I’ll have my boyfriend’s blog tell you what happened during our vacation. I could not write it better than he did. 🙂
