The Sinulog Festival is one of the biggest and grandest festival in the Philippines. It is held every 3rd Sunday of January in honor of the Sto. Niño de Cebu . Anyway, this photo was taken during the Sinulog sa Kabataan; Panglalawigan(loosely translated as Sinulog of the Youth; Provincial leg), which is 1st of the 3 Sinulog street dancing and stage performance starting today. Tomorrow would be the Sinulog sa Kabataan; Dakbayan(Sinulog of the Youth; City leg). The most famous and largest one will be held on the Jan 20th, 2013. This one would include contigents from different parts of the Philippines! Cebu will be packed with so many people then, that’s why I secured an ID that would let me go through places usually inaccessible by the general population. I’ll add a gallery of the photos I took later. I’m still processing them. =D
